Come to the Eau Gallie Arts District every First Friday of the month! Highway Grrls is pleased to open its doors from 5:30 to 9:00 PM with refreshments, music and art! Robin Rothrock showcases her innovative visual art created by using acrylic paint on multiple surfaces including but not limited to glass blocks, paper, wood, lampshades, ceramic tile, metal and of course canvas.

EGAD FIRST FRIDAY DOG DAYS OF SUMMER ART WALK
HIGHWAY GRRLS GALLERY PRESENTS “DOG ART”
Different artist share their vision of dogs for this First Friday August 6th 5:30 – 9:00 Art Walk. Dog Art will occupy the “guest artist” wall at Highway Grrls. The oil paintingon the right entitled “The Perfect Day” is by artist Shelia Wedegis. She describes her work as painting what she loves and knows which are labs. She has three labs and doesn’t paint their portraits but their spirit! She has been working with 6 Lab Rescues throughout the US and gives a percentage of the proceeds to them. The Mark Baker Band will be out front of Highway Grrls rocking the house down on First Friday. Patrons will vote on the “People’s Choice Award” deciding which Dog Art they like the best and the winning artist will get $50 and an EGAD T-shirt.
